Accessibility

Last updated: April 2026

With diversity and inclusiveness among our core values, IMLeagues is committed to providing a website, admin platform, and mobile applications that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

Our standard

IMLeagues is designed and developed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines define how digital content should be made accessible for people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Our admin platform is also developed to align with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, so schools that receive federal funding can adopt IMLeagues with confidence.

How we build for accessibility

Accessibility is a first-class requirement in how we design, build, and test the product. In practice, this means:

  • Color combinations are selected to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios for body text, interactive elements, and status indicators.
  • Interactive elements have visible focus states, so keyboard users always know where they are.
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes are used so assistive technology can describe interfaces accurately.
  • Icons are paired with text labels, and meaningful images include alternative text.
  • Forms use proper labels, clear error messaging, and the right autocomplete attributes.
  • Releases are tested with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.

Continuous improvement

Web accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time milestone. As browsers, assistive technologies, and standards evolve, we regularly review our product against current best practices and refine our experiences. User feedback is one of the most valuable inputs to that process — we take every accessibility report seriously and treat it as a priority alongside functional bug reports.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, our admin platform, or our mobile apps — or if you need this information in an alternative format — please email Section508@imleagues.com. To help us reproduce and resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • The URL or screen where you encountered the issue
  • A description of what you were trying to do
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using (e.g., "JAWS 2024 on Chrome 124", "VoiceOver on iOS 17 Safari")
  • Any screenshots or screen recordings if you can share them

We aim to respond within two business days and to provide a fix or a documented timeline for resolution.

VPAT and procurement

If your school or organization needs a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or a more detailed accessibility conformance report for procurement, please contact Section508@imleagues.com and we'll provide the most current report for the relevant product.

Third-party content

Some pages display advertising delivered by third-party networks. We choose ad partners that share our accessibility commitments, but the rendering of an individual ad creative is controlled by the advertiser. If a third-party ad creates an accessibility problem, please report it using the contact above and we will work with the partner to address it.
